GREATER LUFKIN AUTO AUCTION - BUYER GUIDELINES

All non-licensed individuals must register at the office and receive a bidder number before entering the lot to view or bid on vehicles. For online bidders a Credit Card deposit of $1000 is required. In person bidders a $1000 cash deposit is required. (in both caes the deposit will be returned if no purchase)

If your bid is accepted by the seller, the sale is final. You must sign a receipt at the block and proceed to the office to complete payment. After finalizing the purchase, you may return to the lanes to bid on more vehicles.

Do not place a bid unless you are ready to pay. Greater Lufkin Auto Auction reserves the right to pursue legal action for non-payment. Purchasing a vehicle at auction is a legally binding agreement.

LOT RULES & SAFETY

• Be alert and cautious at all times on the lot and in the lanes.
• Do not move vehicles from their parking spots.
• No children under 16 are allowed on auction grounds.
• No smoking in or around vehicles.
• Do not rev engines, tamper with radios, or cause disruptions.
• Sellers must maintain liability insurance until the vehicle is sold.

Greater Lufkin Auto Auction reserves the right to refuse service at any time.

GREATER LUFKIN AUTO AUCTION BUYERS TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
By registering to bid and bidding at this Auction, You (“Bidder”) agree and irrevocably consent to the following terms and conditions. A bid is a legally binding contract between You and Greater Lufkin Auto Auction (“GLAA”). Please read these terms carefully.

Key Terms & Conditions (All bidders agree to these by registering or bidding):

• All items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS, with all faults” and with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied, as to condition, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose.
• Buyers are strongly encouraged to inspect all items prior to bidding. GLAA does not warrant any items listed for sale. All units are open to public inspection before the auction May 4th 2026—please make your own thorough inspections.
• All sales are final. Your bid is a binding contract. Once you click the bid button (or your bid is accepted), the item is yours. Bidding is your responsibility—we cannot accept excuses such as “my cat walked across the keyboard.”
• Non-paying bidders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Payment Instructions:

• Sellers' fee is 5%.
• Buyer’s Premium: 10% of the sale price for in-person bidders; 10% for online bidders + $35 internet convenience fee. Minimum fee $15 and fee caps at $8500.
• Sales Tax: 8.25% (Texas State tax) will be added to all purchases unless you qualify for exemption. Buyers living outside of Texas are not charged this tax. If you are tax-exempt, all required forms must be submitted by May 9th 2026 at 10:00 PM. Taxes are paid directly to the State of Texas, but will be collected by our office and paid directly to the Public Account at the Comptroller Office.
• Payment Methods Accepted: Wire transfer, Zelle, Google Pay, Apple Pay, cash, or a bank letter of guarantee (personal or business checks will be accepted with this letter)
• Wire transfers incur a $30 fee ($75 for international wires).
• Credit card payments (if accepted) will include a 2.6% + $0.15 processing fee.
• Payment Deadline: All items must be paid in full no later than Tuesday May 12th 2026 at 5pm, unless discussed prior with staff.

Currency Type: USD

Shipping Instructions:

• Winning bidders are required to make their own arrangements for the pick-up and removal. GLAA is not responsible for any damages that may occur before, during, or after loading the purchased item.
• Upon payment, each item becomes the personal property of Bidder. GLAA will not ship or haul any items for Bidder unless specifically agreed to by GLAA in writing. Any items paid for by Bidder, but not picked-up after thirty (30) days of the Auction are considered forfeited and become the property of GLAA. No refunds will be given to the Bidder.

Checkout Date & Times:
GLAA is open Monday-Thursday from 9am-5pm CST and Friday 9am-3pm. Saturday by appointment ONLY. All equipment must be removed no later than May 15th 2026 at 5pm or units will accrue $25 a day late fee. Zero exceptions.

All announcements made the day of Auction take precedence over any or all printed or online information on any particular item or over the format / timing of the Auction itself.

Bidder acknowledges that online bidding may be disrupted by Internet service problems, website failures, and other technical difficulties. Bidder is not excused from any obligation under these terms due to any disruption of any kind in online bidding. Bidders may not bring any type of a claim against GLAA arising from a disruption in online bidding. Bidder agrees to keep his/her bidding password confidential and to take steps to protect their online bidding account as Bidder is responsible for ANY AND ALL activity involving their account.

Bidder agrees to hold GLAA and its agents harmless from and against any claims for injury or damages arising from Bidder’s actions or inactions before, during, or after the Auction. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Auction or these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and the exclusive venue for any such dispute shall be the courts located in Angelina County, Texas. Bidder hereby waives any objection to jurisdiction or venue in such courts.
